Cooper Hoffman is an American actor who made his acting debut in Paul Thomas Anderson's coming-of-age film Licorice Pizza. He received a Golden Globe Award nomination for his performance in this film. Hoffman's subsequent roles include portraying Dick Ebersol in the comedy-drama Saturday Night and leading the adaptation of Stephen King's 1979 novel in The Long Walk. Additionally, he made his stage debut in an Off-Broadway production of Sam Shepard's tragedy Curse of the Starving Class. His work in Licorice Pizza marked a significant start to his career.
