Connie Nielsen is a Danish actress who portrayed Lucilla in Gladiator (2000) and its sequel Gladiator II (2024). She began her acting journey in local revues and later moved to Paris at 18, where she gained experience as both an actress and model. Nielsen has also played Queen Hippolyta in the DC Extended Universe, appearing in Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League (2017), and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). Nielsen appeared in 3 Days to Kill (2014) and Nobody (2021). Nielsen is fluent in Danish, English, French, and German.
