Colin Morgan is an actor from Northern Ireland who played the title character in the BBC fantasy series Merlin (2008–2012). He portrayed Leo Elster in the science fiction series Humans (2015–2018) and Billy Clanton in Kenneth Branagh's Belfast (2021). Morgan made his London theatre debut in 2007 as the lead in DBC Pierre's Vernon God Little, and he has also appeared in productions such as Todo sobre mi madre (2007) and The Tempest (2013). He received multiple nominations for his role in Merlin, including Outstanding Actor at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Awards. Morgan's film credits include The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) and Legend (2015).
