Cliff DeYoung is an American actor and musician who was the lead singer of the 1960s rock band Clear Light. He transitioned to acting with notable performances in Broadway productions such as Hair and Sticks and Bones. DeYoung gained further recognition in television films like Sunshine, which featured John Denver's music and led to a sequel, Sunshine Christmas, in 1977. His film career includes roles in The 3,000 Mile Chase (1977), Shock Treatment (1981), and Flight of the Navigator (1986). He also appeared in the Civil War film Glory (1989) as Colonel James Montgomery. DeYoung has guest-starred on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and The Young and the Restless. His work includes the film Pulse (1988).
