Claudine Auger is a French actress who played the role of Bond girl Dominique 'Domino' Derval in Thunderball (1965). She began her film career while still a student and gained recognition after being crowned Miss France Monde and finishing as the first runner-up in the 1958 Miss World contest. Auger was cast in several films by her then-husband, writer-director Pierre Gaspard-Huit, including Le Masque de fer (1962) and Kali Yug: Goddess of Vengeance (1963). Her performance in Thunderball led to a prominent career in European cinema, although it did not significantly impact her standing in the United States. Auger’s voice in the film was dubbed by Nikki van der Zyl.
