Claire Danes is an American actress who gained early recognition as Angela Chase in the teen drama series My So-Called Life (1994). She made her film debut in Little Women (1994) and has appeared in notable films such as Romeo + Juliet (1996), The Rainmaker (1997), and The Hours (2002). Danes has received numerous accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards. She starred as Carrie Mathison in the Showtime series Homeland from 2011 to 2020, earning two Emmy Awards for her performance. In 2015, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
