Claire Chitham is a New Zealand screen actor who made her debut in the long-running soap opera Shortland Street. For eight years, she portrayed the character Waverly Wilson, a role she reprised for the show's 25th anniversary special in 2016. Following her time on the soap, Claire received acclaim for her performance in the cop series Interrogation and starred as Aurora Bay in the award-winning drama Outrageous Fortune. She took on a leading role in the black comedy Fresh Eggs in 2016, working alongside Danielle Cormack and John Rhys-Davies. More recently, Claire appeared in the romantic comedy Falling Inn Love (2019), which was notable for being the first Netflix feature filmed in New Zealand.
