After a decline in leading roles in Hindi cinema post-1993, he transitioned to Bangladeshi films, where he found success. In Hindi cinema, he has taken on character roles since 2003, featuring in films like Housefull (2010) and Saaho (2019). Chunky Panday is also the father of actress Ananya Panday.
