Chuck Shamata is a Canadian actor who received a Migliore Attore award from Vittorio De Sica at the Sorrento Film Festival. His extensive career includes notable films such as Between Friends (1983), for which he earned a Genie Award nomination, and Cinderella Man (2005). He has also appeared in One Week (2008), The Sentinel (2006), and War Games 2 (2008). On television, Shamata starred in The Running Man, earning a Gemini Award nomination, and played Pierre Salinger in the mini-series Jackie Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. His stage work features performances in Uncle Vanya alongside Peter O'Toole and A Doll's House. Shamata is featured in Breakthrough (2019).
