Christopher Simpson is an Irish actor who portrayed Karim in the film adaptation of Monica Ali's novel Brick Lane. He began his acting journey in primary school, attending drama classes with an amateur dramatics club. Simpson has portrayed twins Magid and Millat in White Teeth (2002), and he appeared in State of Play (2003) and Code 46 (2003). He also starred in The Keeper: The Legend of Omar Khayyam (2004) and appeared in Chromophobia (2005). In 2013, he appeared in Sixteen. Simpson was a jury member for the British Independent Film Awards in 2008.
