Christopher Lloyd is an American actor who portrayed Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy (1985–1990). He began his film career with a role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and gained further recognition as Jim Ignatowski in the television series Taxi (1978–1983), earning two Emmy Awards for his performance. Lloyd's notable film appearances include Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel Addams Family Values (1993). His extensive voice work includes roles in DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp (1990) and the PBS Kids series Cyberchase (2002–present). He won an Independent Spirit Award for his role in Twenty Bucks (1993).
