Christopher Lee is an English actor and musician who holds the Guinness World Record for the most film acting roles ever, with 266 credits since 1948. He portrayed Count Dracula in a series of Hammer Horror films and played Lord Summerisle in The Wicker Man (1973), Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Count Dooku in the Star Wars prequels (2002, 2005), and Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003). Lee considered his role as Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the biopic Jinnah (1998) to be his most significant. He was knighted in 2009 and received the BAFTA Fellowship in 2011.
