Christina Applegate is an American actress who gained prominence for her role as Kelly Bundy in the sitcom Married...with Children (1987–1997). She has appeared in various films, including Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991), The Sweetest Thing (2002), and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) along with its sequel Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013). Applegate has received critical acclaim, winning an Emmy Award for her guest performance in Friends and earning nominations for both a Tony Award and a Golden Globe. In addition to her film work, she starred in the Broadway revival of Sweet Charity in 2005. Applegate also led the cast in the Netflix series Dead to Me (2019–2022).
