Choi Min-sik is a South Korean actor who gained prominence with his role in Shiri (1999). He received several Best Actor awards for his performance in Oldboy (2003), including at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Choi has starred in numerous notable films, such as Lady Vengeance (2005), I Saw the Devil (2010), and The Admiral: Roaring Currents (2014), the latter becoming the highest-grossing film in South Korea. His recent works include Exhuma (2024) and the television series Big Bet (2022).
