Choi Bae-young is a South Korean actress who gained recognition in 2015 for her performance in Great Stories: Kim Sisters. She began her career in theater and independent films before transitioning to television, with a notable role in the series Hello, My Twenties! (2016). Her interest in the arts was sparked during childhood while watching Korean dramas with her grandmother. After high school, she pursued acting at the Korea National University of Arts and started auditioning without an agency. In addition to her acting work, she became an ambassador for Friends of Hope in April 2016.
