Chiranjeet Chakraborty is an Indian actor and director who gained prominence with his role in the film Shotru (1984). He made his acting debut in Sonay Sohaga (1981), but it was his performance in Antarale (1985) that marked his first major success. Chakraborty has appeared in numerous notable films, including Shaitan (1992), Bhai Amar Bhai (1996), and Ajob Prem Ebong... (2011). He received the BFJA Award for his work in the film Abaidha (2002), directed by Gul Bahar Singh. Beyond acting, he is also involved in politics as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in West Bengal.
