Cheng Pei-Pei is a Chinese actress who gained prominence for her role in the influential 1966 film Come Drink with Me. She established herself as a leading female action star, portraying skilled swordswomen in various films during the 1960s. Her career saw a resurgence in 2000 with her performance as Jade Fox in Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, which brought her international acclaim. Cheng also appeared as Long Po in the 2004 miniseries Watery Moon, Hollow Sky, broadcast on Asian-American television as Paradise. She was involved with Zhouyi Media in mainland China. Cheng Pei-Pei featured in Naked Weapon (2002).
