Chaske Spencer is a First Nation descendant of the Lakota Nation who portrayed 'Sam Uley' in the Twilight Saga films. He stars alongside Emily Blunt in the limited series The English and received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2022 Independent Spirit Awards for his role in Wild Indian, which premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. Spencer's other notable works include Woman Walks Ahead (2017), Banshee, and Jessica Jones. He has also appeared in the series Barkskins, Blindspot, Longmire, and Sneaky Pete. Chaske Spencer will feature in the film Teacup (2024).
