Charlotte Murphy is an Irish actress who played Ann Gallagher in the BBC series Happy Valley (2014–2023). She received the Irish Times Irish Theatre Award for her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion at the Abbey Theatre. Murphy was also nominated for Best Actress in a Play at the 2019 WhatsOnStage Awards for her role as Mairead in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, directed by Michael Grandage. She appeared in The Foreigner (2017) and will feature in Joy (2024).
