Charles Parnell is an American actor who portrayed Rear Admiral Solomon "Warlock" Bates in Top Gun: Maverick (2022). He was the second actor to take on the role of Police Chief Derek Frye in the soap opera All My Children from 2004 to 2008. Parnell played Master Chief Russ Jeter in the TNT series The Last Ship, which aired from 2014 to 2018, and he appeared in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023). Additionally, he voiced Jefferson Twilight in Cartoon Network's The Venture Bros. Parnell's roles showcase his range in both live-action and animated projects.
