Charles Napier was an American actor who made his film debut in Cherry, Harry & Raquel! (1969). He gained recognition for his portrayals of tough characters, often seen as police officers or villains. Notable films include The Blues Brothers (1980), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), and The Silence of the Lambs (1991). Napier also appeared in television series such as The A-Team and Star Trek: The Original Series. He collaborated multiple times with director Jonathan Demme.
