Charles Melton is an American actor who gained prominence for his role as Reggie Mantle in the CW series Riverdale (2017–2023). He began his career in the fashion industry before transitioning to acting, with early appearances in Glee (2014) and American Horror Story: Hotel (2015–2016). Melton's performance in the romance film The Sun Is Also a Star (2019) marked a significant milestone in his career. He has also starred in Secret Headquarters (2022) and is featured in the Netflix series Beef (2023). For his role in the drama film May December (2023), he received nominations for both a Critics' Choice Movie Award and a Golden Globe Award.
