Charles Boyer was a French actor who appeared in over 80 films from 1920 to 1976. He gained prominence in the 1930s with notable performances in romantic dramas such as Algiers (1938) and Love Affair (1939). Boyer's career also included a significant role in the mystery-thriller Gaslight (1944). Throughout his career, he received four nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actor. He is featured in Lost Horizon (1973).
