Charles Babalola is a British actor who received the Alan Bates Award for outstanding graduating actors after studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He appeared in the film The Legend of Tarzan (2016) and portrayed Andrew, one of Jesus's disciples, in Mary Magdalene (2018). Babalola also had a prominent role in the Royal National Theatre's production of Network (2018), performing alongside Bryan Cranston. In 2022, he was set to lead the Showtime drama series King Shaka, although the project was shelved in April 2023. His work in theatre and film showcases his range as an actor.
