Charle is an Indian actor who has appeared in over 550 Tamil films, primarily as a comedian and supporting actor. He began his career in the Song & Drama Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, performing more than 1000 dramas in six years. Charle made his film debut in 'Poikal Kuthirai' (1982), introduced by director K. Balachandar. His notable works include 'Anniyan' (2005), 'Neram' (2013), and 'Velaikkaran' (2017). Charle holds a Master of Arts degree and a Master of Philosophy degree, with a dissertation focusing on the contributions of comedians to Tamil cinema.
