Chan Shen is a Taiwanese-born Hong Kong film actor who appeared in 160 action films during his career. He began his work in the Hong Kong film industry in 1971 after establishing himself in Taiwan. He was particularly active in the 1970s, often featuring in up to ten films a year. His notable works include Disciples of the 36th Chamber (1985) and many others produced by Shaw Brothers Studio. Chan Shen's career was cut short when he passed away from a brain hemorrhage in 1984.
