Chaka Khan is an American singer and songwriter who appeared in the film The One and Only Ivan (2020). She gained prominence in the early 1970s as the lead vocalist of the funk band Rufus, with hits like "Ain't Nobody" and "Tell Me Something Good." Khan's solo career includes the number-one R&B hit "I'm Every Woman," which was later covered by Whitney Houston, and the crossover hit "I Feel for You," marking her as the first R&B artist to collaborate with a rapper. Over her career, she has received ten Grammy Awards and has worked with notable artists such as Whitney Houston and Miles Davis.
