Chadwick Boseman was an American actor who portrayed Jackie Robinson in the film 42 (2013). He gained recognition for his role as T’Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Boseman also appeared in 21 Bridges (2019) and Marshall (2017). He was also a playwright and screenwriter, with his play Deep Azure nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award.
