Cengiz Bozkurt is a Turkish actor known for his portrayal of Erdal Bakkal in the surreal comedy series Leyla ile Mecnun. He began his academic journey at Middle East Technical University, initially studying physics before switching to stage acting in 1990. After living in England for 14 years, he graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with a degree in Media and Communication. Bozkurt has appeared in various films and television series, including Taken 2 (2012). He returned to acting with the support of Mehmet Ergen and has worked at Arcola Theatre in London.
