Cedric the Entertainer is an American actor and comedian who voiced the character Maurice in the Madagascar film series, which includes Madagascar (2005), Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008), and Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012). He gained prominence through his role as Calvin Butler in the sitcom The Neighborhood and as Eddie in the Barbershop films.
