Catherine Tate is an English actress, comedian, and writer who won multiple awards for her work on The Catherine Tate Show (2004–2007). She portrayed Donna Noble in the Doctor Who Christmas special in 2006 and returned to the role for the fourth series in 2008, as well as for the 60th anniversary episodes in 2023. Tate's film credits include Khumba (2013). She has received nominations for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs.
