Catherine Dent is an American actress who made her film debut in Nobody's Fool (1994). She gained significant recognition for her role as L.A.P.D. Officer Danielle "Danny" Sofer in the FX drama The Shield, which premiered in 2002. Dent has appeared in various television series, including guest roles in The X-Files, The Sopranos, and Grey's Anatomy. Her film credits include Someone Like You... (2001).
