Carroll Baker is a former American actress who gained prominence for her role in the film Baby Doll (1956), directed by Elia Kazan. After beginning her career on Broadway in 1954, she became a notable figure in the 1960s, particularly recognized as a sex symbol following her performance in The Carpetbaggers (1964). Baker's filmography includes significant works such as Harlow (1965), The Sweet Body of Deborah (1968), and Star 80 (1983).
