Carrie Snodgress is an American actress who received an Academy Award nomination for her performance in Diary of a Mad Housewife (1970). She appeared in several notable films, including Easy Rider (1969), The Fury (1978), and Pale Rider (1985). Snodgress also featured in Wild Things (1998) and The Forsaken (2001). She was married to musician Neil Young from 1970 to 1975, and they had one son.
