Caroline Quentin is an English actress known for her portrayal of DCI Janine Lewis in the police drama Blue Murder (2003–2009). She gained prominence through her television roles, including Maddie Magellan in Jonathan Creek (1997–2000) and Dorothy in Men Behaving Badly (1992–1998). Quentin's stage career includes a commendation for her performance as Masha in The Seagull at the Oxford Theatre Company in 1991. She starred in the sitcom Kiss Me, Kate in 1998, which was tailored for her, and won the Best Comedy Actress award at the British Comedy Awards in 2004 for her role in Von Trapped. In addition to her acting, she has hosted the series Restoration Home on BBC Two. Quentin appeared in Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop (2022).
