Carloto Cotta is a Portuguese actor who made his film debut in 31 (2003). He began his acting training at the Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais at the age of 15 and has since become a prominent figure in Portuguese cinema. Cotta gained critical acclaim for his lead role in the short film Arena (2009), which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. His international recognition came with his performance in Tabu (2012). He also appeared in You Won't Be Alone (2022) and Amelia’s Children (2024).
