Carey Mulligan is an English actress who received a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in An Education (2009). She made her film debut in Pride & Prejudice (2005) and gained further recognition for her roles in Never Let Me Go (2010), Drive (2011), and Promising Young Woman (2020), the latter earning her an Academy Award nomination. Mulligan also starred in the biopic Maestro (2023) and the drama She Said (2022). Her stage work includes a Broadway debut in The Seagull (2008) and a Tony Award nomination for Skylight (2015).
