Cara Buono is an actress who earned an Emmy Award nomination for her role as Dr. Faye Miller in Mad Men (2007). She began her career at age 11 with a role in Harvey Fierstein's "Spookhouse" and gained early recognition with a Daytime Emmy nomination for Abby, My Love (1991). Buono has appeared in various films including Waterland (1992), The Cowboy Way (1994), and Kicking and Screaming (1995). She also starred in the cult series The Dead Zone (2002-2007) as Sheriff Anna Turner. In addition to her acting, Buono has worked behind the camera as a writer and director. She is featured in Stranger Things (2016) and She Came from the Woods (2023).
