Candace Maxwell is a first generation Caribbean-American actress and dancer who played Cassandra Haynes in "Power" (2019). She began her career as a dancer, performing on stage, in film, and on Broadway, including a role in "Holler If You Hear Me". Before transitioning to acting, she was a back-up dancer for renowned artists such as Beyoncé, Lil' Kim, and P. Diddy. Maxwell trained in the Meisner technique at the Maggie Flanigan Studio to enhance her acting skills. She has appeared in "Insatiable" (2019) and was featured in "Tyler Perry's A Madea Homecoming" (2022). Candace is also an advocate for underprivileged youth.
