Burgess Jenkins is a Meisner method actor trained at Playhouse West, where he studied under Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum. He gained recognition for his role as Ray Budds in the 2000 film Remember The Titans, sharing the screen with Denzel Washington. Jenkins portrayed David Winter, Hilary Swank's husband, in The Reaping (2007) and played the religious leader John Wesley in the independent film Wesley (2009), which featured Kevin McCarthy and June Lockhart. His television credits include Bobby Irons in One Tree Hill and recurring roles in Army Wives and Drop Dead Diva. Jenkins received a Best Actor nomination at the Boston Film Festival for his performance in Insignificant Others.
