Brock Peters is an American actor who played Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962). He gained prominence for his performance as 'Crown' in the 1959 adaptation of Porgy and Bess. Peters became well-known among Star Trek enthusiasts for his roles as Fleet Admiral Cartwright in two Star Trek films and as Joseph Sisko in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Additionally, he appeared as Hatcher in Soylent Green. His film credits also include Alligator 2: The Mutation (1991).
