Bridget Fonda is an American former actress who gained prominence for her role in The Godfather Part III (1990). She is part of a renowned acting lineage, with her grandfather Henry Fonda, father Peter Fonda, and aunt Jane Fonda. Fonda starred in several notable films, including Jackie Brown (1997), A Simple Plan (1998), and Lake Placid (1999). Her performance in Scandal (1989) earned her a Golden Globe nomination. After a successful career that began in the late 1980s, she stepped away from acting in 2002. Fonda is married to composer Danny Elfman and they have one son.
