Brian Tyree Henry is an American actor who gained recognition for portraying rapper Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles in the FX series Atlanta (2016–2022). He made his film debut in 2018 with significant roles in Steve McQueen's Widows and Barry Jenkins' If Beale Street Could Talk. His filmography includes performances in Child's Play (2019), Joker (2019), and the Marvel film Eternals (2021), where he played Phastos. Henry also lent his voice to Jefferson Davis in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and its sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023). He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Causeway (2022).
