Brian Pettifer is a South African actor who made his film debut in Lindsay Anderson's if.... (1968). He has appeared in multiple films, including O Lucky Man! (1973) and Britannia Hospital (1982), portraying the same character, Biles, in all three of Anderson's films. His other notable film roles include appearances in Amadeus (1984), The House of Mirth (2000), and Vanity Fair (2004). Pettifer has had roles in Rab C. Nesbitt and Get Some In!, as well as guest spots in series like Hamish Macbeth and Holby City. Pettifer appeared in Damaged (2024).
