Brian Jones was a pioneering English musician and composer who founded the Rolling Stones in 1962. He expanded his repertoire to include various instruments such as rhythm guitar, sitar, and harmonica. His innovative guitar style, characterized by the interplay between rhythm and lead parts, became a hallmark of the Rolling Stones' music. Jones faced personal struggles with substance abuse, which led to his diminished role in the band. He was dismissed in June 1969, shortly before his untimely death. He was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
