Brett Rice is an American actor who gained prominence with his role in the film Forrest Gump (1994). He began his career after landing a role during an audition wait, which sparked a passion for theater that led him to audition extensively in Atlanta. His film credits include Edward Scissorhands (1990), Kalifornia (1993), and Remember the Titans (2000), where he portrayed Coach Tyrell. Rice also appeared in the TV series I'll Fly Away (1991) and In the Heat of the Night (1988). He has accumulated over 75 credits in both television and film, as well as stage performances. Rice co-starred in Van Wilder: Freshman Year (2009).
