Brent Musburger is a sports broadcaster who began his career as a sportswriter before joining CBS in 1968, where he became the original host of The NFL Today in 1975. Musburger coined the term 'March Madness' during his coverage of the NCAA tournament. His notable broadcasts include the 'Hail Flutie' call in 1984 and the 1995 call of the Seattle Mariners' victory. He later worked with ABC and ESPN, becoming the lead voice for the SEC Network. Musburger received the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award in 2025.
