Brendan Penny is a Canadian actor known for his portrayal of A.J. Varland in the TV series Whistler (2006-2008). He is also known for his character Detective Brian Lucas in the crime drama Motive (2013-2016), which follows a team of homicide detectives in Vancouver. In addition to his television work, he stars as Kevin O'Brien in the Hallmark Channel series Chesapeake Shores, which began airing in 2016. Penny has also appeared in several Hallmark original films, including Autumn in the Vineyard (2016).
