Brandy Leary is a Canadian performer and creator. She serves as the artistic director of Anandam Dancetheatre and has presented her work across various platforms, including theatres, festivals, and art galleries in Canada, Europe, India, South Africa, and the United States. Leary has spent eighteen years training in traditional Indian performance arts, such as Seraikella and Mayurbhanj Chhau dance, Kalarippayattu martial arts, and Rope Mallakhamb. In Canada, she integrates Western techniques with aerial rope and contemporary circus practices. She is a co-founder of Collective Space and the Contemporary Circus Arts Festival of Toronto, and has curated initiatives like the Body Brake series at Theatre Passe Muraille.
