Brad Bird is an American filmmaker who directed The Iron Giant (1999). He has worked extensively in both animation and live-action, with notable films including The Incredibles (2004) and Ratatouille (2007), both of which won Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature. Bird transitioned to live-action with Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) and later directed Disney's Tomorrowland (2015). He returned to Pixar to helm Incredibles 2 (2018), which became the second-highest-grossing animated film ever.
